American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Foundation – Classroom Grant

AIAA Classroom grant program supports K-12 teachers who want to incorporate new ways of teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into their classroom with an emphasis on aerospace. AIAA funds can be used to purchase STEM demonstration kits, STEM software, and parts and supplies for making flying objects or robotics.

Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association Foundation – Gravely & Paige Grants

Gravely & Paige Grants can be used for activities or tools inside or outside of the classroom, such as robotics clubs, cyber clubs, and other STEM related activities to promote STEM to students. Teachers must work at an elementary or middle school. Priority is given to teachers working in schools with economically disadvantaged students.

Department of the NAVY STEM, Education, and Workforce Program

The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is supporting existing and/or developing innovative solutions that directly maintain, and/or cultivate a diverse, world-class Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) workforce to maintain the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps’ technological superiority. The goal of proposed efforts must provide solutions that establish, build, and/or maintain STEM educational pathways of U.S. citizens directly relevant to the needs of Department of Navy’s (DON) current and future workforce.

NASA Office of STEM Engagement

NASA Office of STEM engagement has multiple grant opportunities that seek to support building a diverse STEM workforce through authentic learning experiences. These highly competitive awards are for informal education institutions such as museums, libraries and youth serving organizations. Proposals must outline evidence-based educational approaches to provide STEM engagement opportunities that align with NASA’s mission.
