Rocketry challenges and competitions have been growing across the nation, driven by a growing passion for aerospace. The first step to succeeding in these competitions is learning how to build, finish and launch a model rocket!
The Alpha is one of Estes’ most trusted rockets, responsible for millions of successful launches. It includes detailed visual instructions that walk you through the process of building a rocket yourself and is quickly ready to fly on the LifeTime Launch System. In addition, it uses the same methods of construction as the rockets you make for competitions like The American Rocketry Challenge.
Learn the basics of building, finishing and painting a model rocket, then fly with the LifeTime Launch System!
The B6-4 motors included are a great option for flights on the Alpha, but this rocket can fly on all sorts of Estes engines, adding even more variables to test and explore. The LifeTime Launch System is compatible with most Estes Rockets, and will set you up with a future filled with flights.
