In The Classroom

The Hi-Flier® model rocket is designed for educational programs that want to explore high altitude flight while reinforcing core rocketry concepts. Its lightweight design and slim airframe allow students to clearly observe powered ascent, coast phase, and recovery, making it a strong teaching tool for physics and engineering discussions.

Supports Intermediate STEM Learning

With an intermediate skill level, the Hi-Flier helps students build confidence as they progress beyond entry level kits. Assembly introduces more precise alignment and fin placement, reinforcing attention to detail and following technical instructions.

Designed for High Altitude Observation

The Hi-Flier is capable of reaching up to 1,500 feet on recommended engines, giving students an opportunity to study altitude performance and flight duration. Its high visibility fluorescent orange streamer makes it easier to track descent and locate the rocket after landing.

Simple and Reliable Recovery System

The streamer recovery system minimizes drift while remaining easy to deploy and repack. This makes the Hi-Flier well suited for school fields, camps, and group launch environments where reliable recovery is essential.

Ideal for Classrooms, Camps, and Youth Groups

Whether used in a formal STEM curriculum or as part of an enrichment activity, the Hi-Flier delivers consistent results and engaging flights. Its balance of performance, durability, and visibility makes it a dependable rocket for repeated educational launches.

Great looking kit

Great looking kit. Looking forward to building and launching it with my grandkids kids.

I keep a few of these around for quick fun builds. Great performance and really useful for test flights before the big rockets come out to play. They are light enough to determine wind direction at higher altitudes.
