Overview

The Pro Series II™ Launch Pad is designed to meet the demands of educational rocketry programs, youth organizations, and group learning environments. Its sturdy construction provides a dependable launch base for larger rockets while supporting safe, repeatable flights during hands-on STEM activities.

Designed for Educational Programs

This launch pad is ideal for classrooms, camps, and rocketry clubs working with Pro Series II and mid-powered rockets. Its compatibility allows educators to scale lessons from introductory flights to more advanced propulsion and recovery system studies.

Durable Components for Repeated Use

The two-piece, threaded 1/4 in. x 60 in. steel launch rod offers reliable guidance during liftoff, while the 5 in. galvanized blast deflector helps protect the pad from heat and exhaust. These durable components are well suited for frequent launches across multiple sessions.

Simple Setup for Group Instruction

Removable PVC tube legs allow for quick assembly and breakdown, making this pad easy to share among groups or store between lessons. Educators can spend less time on setup and more time engaging students in rocketry concepts and launch preparation.

A Reliable Tool for Advanced Learning

As students progress into mid-power rocketry, this launch pad becomes an essential part of the learning experience. It supports lessons in stability, thrust, and recovery systems while giving students confidence as they work with larger and more powerful rockets.

How tall is it? That’s what I want to know before I order it cause I don’t know if it’s tall enough for my rocket.

Great Product....but I made some improvements!

This is a great launch pad....as others have mentioned....it's nice to add some 1 1/4" end caps.....then I thought....why not buy some 1 1/4" straight pipe attached 45-degree angle couplers to raise the launch pad to waist height (or any height) rather than having to bend over to set up the rocket. Then I added the end caps to the bottom.....minimal expense. To take it even futher....you can add gravel, sand or cement in the straight sections of pipe for stability. It's not rocket science.... or is it!

It’s a Christmas gift

It’s a Christmas gift, but I’m sure it’s great. I’ll let you know after I actually shoot some rockets off.
