C class motors might be overkill

I got exactly one use out of each of these rockets. Not the rocket’s fault, they seem well constructed and easy to set up. The problem was that I vastly underestimated what 1100ft looks like with a C6-5 motor. I put Rascal on the pad, the rocket lit, and just like that it was GONE. Indescribably fast. It faded to a point before the parachute even deployed and we never saw it again. We spent twenty minutes arguing which direction to search, because one guy thought it went north and another guy saw it go south.

We tried again with Hijinks and a B class motor. We nearly lost sight of it, but the parachute deployed and we watched helplessly as it drifted into the forest 300ft away. Never found that one either.

Conclusion: stick with A class motors. Maybe B if you have at least 500ft in every direction on a still day. 10/10 would launch again, if I could!
