Overview

The Estes Shock Cord Anchors Assorted Pack gives teachers the flexibility to support multiple rocket designs with one purchase. Each 6-pack includes two mounts for BT-50, BT-55, and BT-60 body tubes—making it easy to adapt lessons across different rocket sizes and skill levels.

Fast, Clean Assembly in the Classroom

These anchors come with pre-applied 3M adhesive, so there’s no need for glue, drying time, or extra tools. Students can simply peel and press the anchor into the body tube and tie off the shock cord. Ideal for classrooms, camps, or activity centers where time is limited and clean-up needs to stay minimal.

Built to Withstand Multiple Flights

Each anchor is made from injection-molded ABS plastic for repeat use. The built-in slot ensures a tight, secure shock cord connection that holds through ejection and recovery, allowing students to relaunch rockets with confidence.

Includes 6 Anchors in 3 Sizes

Each pack contains 2 anchors each for BT-50, BT-55, and BT-60 rockets. A practical, cost-effective option for educators running a variety of rocketry activities or managing different model types in one classroom.

Neat idea that works well

I was able to try out a pre-production version of the BT-55 mount in a repaired model, and it worked like a champ. I look forward to using more of these neat devices.
