Overview

The Estes 24 mm to 29 mm Engine Adapter gives educators, STEM leaders, and youth rocketry programs greater flexibility when planning model rocket launches. By allowing compatible 24 mm engines to be used in rockets with 29 mm engine mounts, students can explore additional flight configurations without permanently modifying the rocket.

Explore the Impact of Engine Selection

Use different compatible engines to help students investigate how engine selection can influence model rocket performance. Comparing flights can create engaging opportunities to discuss thrust, total impulse, rocket mass, altitude, and other real-world STEM concepts.

More Flexibility for Your Rocketry Program

The adapter is compatible with Estes 24 mm C11, D, E, and E30 composite engines, along with many other 24 mm composite single-use and RMS motor systems. This expanded compatibility gives educators and group leaders more options when selecting engines for different rockets, launch goals, and learning activities.

Never used an engine adapter before but I am for the Pink Flamingo build just for the convenience

Never used an engine adapter before but I am for the Pink Flamingo build just for the convenience of lower flight altitude endurance for those days when winds could interfere with high altitude flight.
Well manufactured but not sure how it will endure multiple launches?

A must have for flying in smaller fields with your 29mm rocket.

A must have to test fly your 29mm rocket with a smaller 24 mm engine or to fly in a smaller field with a motor that will give you a lower overall altitude. With the spacer a C or D engine will fit in your 29 mm rocket. It works well and holds the 24mm engine securely in place.
