In The Classroom

Designed for Fast Builds and Immediate Engagement

The Ghost Chaser™ is built to maximize classroom time and student excitement. Its snap-together construction eliminates the need for glue or paint, allowing students to focus on understanding how rockets work rather than getting stuck in lengthy prep. In a single session, learners can go from unboxing to launch-ready, making it an excellent fit for classrooms, camps, and group STEM programs.

This quick assembly process also helps educators manage time effectively while keeping students fully engaged. With fewer barriers to entry, even first-time builders can experience success right away, building confidence and curiosity from the very first launch.

Explore Flight with a Clear Payload System

The clear payload section transforms each flight into an opportunity for experimentation. Students can send up small objects, lightweight sensors, or creative cargo, then observe how added mass affects altitude, stability, and descent. This hands-on approach brings abstract physics concepts into a tangible and exciting format.

By combining creativity with scientific observation, the Ghost Chaser encourages inquiry-based learning. Students are not just launching rockets, they are testing ideas, forming hypotheses, and seeing real results in the sky.

Understanding Aerodynamic Transitions

One of the most valuable learning features of the Ghost Chaser is its transition from a wider main body tube to a narrower payload section. This change in diameter introduces students to an important aerodynamic concept known as a body transition, which plays a key role in how rockets manage airflow and maintain stability during flight.

Through this design, students can explore how shape and structure influence drag and performance. The narrower upper section helps reduce air resistance while the wider lower body provides stability and space for propulsion. Understanding this relationship builds foundational knowledge in aerospace engineering and helps students recognize how real rockets are designed for efficiency and control.

High-Altitude Performance that Inspires

The Ghost Chaser delivers impressive performance that captures attention and reinforces learning. Capable of reaching up to 1100 feet on a C6-7 engine, it provides a dramatic visual experience that keeps students engaged and excited. For smaller launch areas, lower-powered engines allow for controlled flights without sacrificing the thrill.

This flexibility makes it easy for educators to adapt lessons to different environments while still demonstrating key principles like thrust, altitude, and recovery systems.

Built for Safe, Repeatable Classroom Use

Durability and reliability are essential in an educational setting, and the Ghost Chaser is designed with both in mind. Molded plastic fins provide consistent performance flight after flight, while the 12 inch parachute ensures safe and visible recoveries. Students can quickly reset and launch again, reinforcing lessons through repetition and observation.

With its balance of simplicity, performance, and educational value, the Ghost Chaser is more than just a rocket kit. It is a complete learning tool that helps students connect engineering concepts to real-world applications in a way that is both memorable and fun.

Too small

2-stars. It is not for show. It’s just too small.

Ghost Chaser Beginner Rocket

Fun rocket for any beginner would highly recommend, fun to build and a great flyer. Wished it would have came with more stickers for the fins but still looks great! Easy and perfect for a payload build.
