The Gnome in the Classroom
The Estes Gnome is designed for a rocket class in a day. It can be challenging to fit everything into a busy year, but for something as exciting as a rocketry activity, the Gnome is there to help you find the time. It comes in just a few pieces and can be assembled in about an hour, but still provides that exciting launch and a unique learning experience that Estes rockets are known for.
The Gnome is an exciting experience in it’s own right, but you can pair the Gnome with some experimentation to enhance the learning opportunity. With the Gnome you can experiment with recovery systems and decent rates, and altitude tracking with geometry. It acts as a great demonstration for the principles of flight.
