What You Need to Fly

In The Classroom

The Estes AVG Bulk Pack turns your classroom into a launch site for discovery. Students learn valuable STEM concepts through the process of building, testing, and launching model rockets. With three unique rocket designs and a total of 12 kits, the AVG Bulk Pack provides the perfect foundation for group-based learning and scientific exploration. Each build encourages students to apply concepts like thrust, drag, stability, and aerodynamics in a way that is interactive and unforgettable.

Three Rockets, One Mission: Learn Through Flight

Each rocket in this bulk pack serves a different purpose in the learning process. The Alpha is a trusted Intermediate level rocket known for its reliability and smooth performance. The Viking challenges students to experiment with 48 possible fin configurations, letting them explore how design affects stability and altitude. The Generic E2X provides a clean, straightforward build that still teaches essential model rocketry skills. Together, they form a dynamic teaching toolkit that fits a wide range of classroom activities and learning goals.

Building Skills That Go Beyond the Launch Pad

The AVG Bulk Pack promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. As students measure, sand, glue, and paint their rockets, they learn to follow detailed instructions, apply precision, and think like engineers. On launch day, they will observe, collect data, and compare flight results, transforming every flight into a lesson in physics, design, and perseverance.

Exciting Performance and Reliable Recovery

Powered by Estes model rocket engines, the Alpha can reach up to 1000 feet, the Viking an incredible 1600 feet, and the Generic E2X up to 1325 feet. Each launch provides a thrilling display of Newton’s laws in action and a valuable opportunity for experimentation. With durable construction and parachute recovery systems, these rockets are designed for repeated launches and long-term educational use.

Perfect for Classrooms and Group Programs

The AVG Bulk Pack is made for educators and youth leaders who want hands-on engagement without complicated setup. Each rocket can be built using simple tools like scissors, glue, and sandpaper. To launch, you will need an Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad, Electron Beam Launch Controller, recovery wadding, and Estes rocket engines with starters and plugs (sold separately). Whether for a classroom project, a STEM club, or a group competition, the AVG Bulk Pack delivers learning that truly takes off.

Great value… !

Great value! Would love to see more options for the bulk packages for Rockets as we on a yearly basis fly rockets with our Cub Scout Pack 192 in Laredo, Texas. All families really enjoy this event! We would like to see more - different rockets built. Thru the bulk packages…. ⚜️🚀
