Overview

The Model Rocketry 101 + Green Eggs Flight Data Classroom Kit provides educators with everything needed to teach rocketry, data collection, and engineering design in one engaging classroom experience. Students will construct and launch real model rockets while gathering and analyzing flight data using the PocketLab Voyager 2 Sensor.

This comprehensive bundle combines the award-winning Model Rocketry 101 educator training course with Estes' Green Eggs Bulk Pack rockets, C11-3 Engine Bulk Pack, and the durable Lifetime Launch System, making it an ideal choice for middle and high school STEM programs, summer camps, and after-school clubs.

Green Eggs Bulk Pack (12 pk)

The Estes Green Eggs rockets are designed for egg lofting challenges that introduce students to payload recovery, aerodynamics, and safe flight. Each rocket can carry a regular-sized raw egg and reaches up to 1050 feet in altitude. The clear payload section allows students to visualize their “eggstronauts” in flight, while the stable design ensures consistent results for classroom testing. The bulk pack includes twelve rockets, perfect for student teams or repeat launches.

C11-3 Engine Bulk Pack

Each bulk pack provides all the propulsion materials needed for 12 launches, including 12 C11-3 engines, starters, plugs, and recovery wadding. These engines are ideal for rockets like the Green Eggs, providing smooth liftoffs and stable flights suitable for small to mid-sized flying fields. Educators can rely on consistent engine performance for classroom experiments and data collection.

Lifetime Launch System

Built for classroom durability, the Lifetime Launch System includes a Pro Series II Launch Controller and a heavy-duty launch pad designed to withstand repeated use. With adjustable launch rods, a 30-foot cable, and a lifetime limited warranty, it supports a wide range of rockets and is perfect for repeated STEM activities throughout the school year.

PocketLab® Voyager 2 Sensor

The PocketLab Voyager 2 Sensor transforms traditional rocketry into a data-driven exploration of science and engineering. This multi-sensor device measures acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic field, altitude, temperature, light intensity, and more—all in real time. Students can stream or record data using the PocketLab Notebook platform, then analyze results to deepen their understanding of motion, forces, and energy.

Voyager 2 connects to Chromebooks, iPads, laptops, and other Bluetooth 4.0 devices, making it easy to integrate into modern classrooms. With its long battery life and durable construction, it is built to handle repeated use across multiple lab sessions.

Model Rocketry 101 Course

Model Rocketry 101 gives educators a strong foundation in model rocketry principles and classroom implementation. Hosted on Thinkific, this self-paced course covers everything from rocket selection and construction to flight safety and STEM lesson integration. Upon purchase, teachers receive access to the course platform and can begin preparing engaging lessons right away.

Inspire Discovery Through Flight Data

By combining physical model rocketry with digital data analysis, the Model Rocketry 101 + Green Eggs Flight Data Classroom Kit bridges hands-on learning and 21st-century science skills. Students experience the excitement of flight while applying core concepts in physics, math, and engineering to real-world experiments.

This kit equips educators with the tools to create memorable learning experiences that connect curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
