High flier is more challenging than it looks

Don’t let the simple appearance of this guy fool you. It’s a challenging model to build, and since it’s so high performance you need to have some experience to fly and properly recover it. Estes E and F motors will send it thousands of feet into the air. For something a bit more daring, try Aerotech’s 29mm single-use composite E and F motors for flights over 3,000 feet. You’ll need to reinforce the airframe a bit (especially the fins) if you plan to do this. This can also protect the fins from recovery impact which can be harsh with only a streamer.

Great kit to build & fly. Been building Estes since I was around 11 years old. I will always remember my first Bandit & Mean Machine rockets.
